Variety description

The plant has a spreading-vertical crown shape with long sprawling branches and short lateral shoots. Leaves are glossy and do not have a distinct autumn coloration. Flowers 2–2.5 cm in diameter bloom in mid-May; fruits about 7 mm in size are held on short pedicels.
The variety has high resistance to scab and is suitable for climate zones 1–3. Used in landscaping parks and private gardens as a specimen plant or in group plantings; the fruits are ornamental and attract birds, but are not intended for human consumption.
