The plant is distinguished by high growth vigor. The leaflets are obovate and adorned with a characteristic white speckled pattern. The fruit is a prickly burr.

The variety is intended for use as pasture forage. It is adapted to the Mediterranean climate, tolerates drought and heat well on calcareous soils, but is sensitive to frost and waterlogging.
