The variety is developed for cultivation in dryland conditions, in particular for valleys with low rainfall levels. It can be cultivated both in pure stands and in mixed sowings with tall fescue, orchard grass, and sainfoin.
The variety possesses good drought tolerance and demonstrates higher productivity in comparative trials on drylands compared to a number of local ecotypes and foreign varieties. The studies covered morphological traits such as plant height, leaflet size, and flower color.
