The variety is the result of the recombination of Romanian and foreign genetic material. The plants are distinguished by an accelerated growth rate in the spring period and rapid regrowth after cutting; the average height is 55.8 cm.
The variety possesses resistance to major alfalfa diseases and high winter hardiness. It shows good adaptability under both irrigation and dryland farming conditions. It can be successfully used as part of grass mixtures with Dactylis glomerata and Trifolium alexandrinum.
