The variety was created by the family-group selection method from a hybrid population obtained by crossing the WL 202 and Veselopodolyanskaya 11 varieties. The period from emergence to the first hay cut is 50–60 days, and to seed harvest is 140–155 days. Productive use lasts 4–5 years.
Dry matter yield reaches 130–140 c/ha, seed productivity is 4.0–5.0 c/ha. Protein content in dry matter is 19.0–20.0%, fiber content is 21.0–22.0%. The variety is resistant to lodging and root rots, recommended for the Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones.
