Variety description

The variety was created by selection from the seed progeny of the IELR-2 population. Plants have green leaves, and flowers are light yellow at the beginning of flowering. The average plant height is 37.5 cm.

Green mass yield is 93 c/ha, essential oil yield is 3.6 kg/ha. The content of extractive substances in raw materials reaches 42.3%. The essential oil composition includes citral, caryophyllene, caryophyllene oxide, and germacrene D.

The variety is adapted to the climatic conditions of the Crimean foothills. In regions with severe winters, low winter hardiness is noted with a risk of plant freezing up to 50–95%.

Used in fresh and dried form, as well as for food flavoring, in pharmaceuticals, and the perfume and cosmetics industry.
