The upright plant reaches a height of 70–75 cm. The branched green stem has no pubescence or anthocyanin coloration. Broad-ovate leaves measure 5–6 cm in length and 4–5 cm in width. Lilac flowers are gathered into whorls, which form a sparse spike with 11 to 19 whorls.

The variety belongs to the mid-ripening group. The leaf aroma is pleasant, and the essential oil has a peppery scent. The use of in vitro micropropagation technologies contributes to the improvement of the planting material, which leads to an increase in the yield of rhizomes, leaf mass, and essential oil output.
