Variety description

The plant forms a dense tussock of basal narrow leaves, above which rise panicle inflorescences of dark brown or dark purple color on dark sturdy stems. The variety has an elegant, airy structure, reaching a height of 1.5 to 2.2 meters during the flowering period from August to October.
The plant is winter-hardy, withstands temperatures down to -29 °C (USDA zones 4–5) and is distinguished by the resistance of its stems to lodging. It prefers sunny areas or partial shade and develops well in most garden soils, provided there is sufficient moisture and no excess lime.
Used in landscape design as an architectural element to create vertical accents in mixed borders and natural-style gardens, harmoniously combining with other perennials due to its transparent structure.
