The plant is compact, semi-erect, reaching a height of 20 to 35 cm. The leaves have a saturated purple or dark purple color and are oblong-ovate in shape with a serrated edge. The flowers are pink.
The variety is early-maturing; technical maturity occurs 30–40 days after emergence. Yield is about 1 kg/m². The leaves have a strong aroma and a distinct clove flavor. The variety is characterized as low-maintenance and of universal use: for fresh consumption, canning, and drying.
