The plant has a uniform, upright habit and is characterized by rapid growth, surpassing the Rutgers Obsession DMR variety in rooting speed. Plant height varies from 30 to 60 cm. The leaves are dark green and range in shape from flat to cupped.
The variety possesses the classic aroma and flavor of sweet basil and is suitable for multiple cuttings throughout the season. The leaves are sensitive to mechanical damage from rough handling.
The primary advantage is high resistance to downy mildew, which allows the variety to be used in both professional field production and home gardens. The variety is not genetically modified.
