The variety belongs to the leaf marjoram type, which is characterized by longer stems compared to the knotted types of the plant. In the German tradition, this type is sometimes referred to as French bush marjoram.

The plant has a high essential oil content. Sensory analysis shows notable differences in the aromatic profile of the variety compared to other Hungarian varieties.
