The variety has a stem of medium length and moderate resistance to lodging. The plant exhibits resistance to Helminthosporium leaf spot, as well as moderate resistance to rice blast and leaf spot.

The grain occupies an intermediate position between the 'Long A' and 'Long B' types in biometric characteristics with an amylose content of 18%. Recommended sowing dates end on May 8–10. To prevent leaf damage, excessive doses of nitrogen fertilizers should be avoided; on fertile soils, fungicidal protection is recommended.
