The grain is classified as very long, having a length of about 7.1 mm and a width of 3.4 mm, with a length-to-width ratio of 2.1. In appearance, the grain is semi-elliptical in shape and is characterized by the presence of a very large white central pearl.

The variety lacks aroma, has non-glutinous endosperm and a low amylose content, which gives it the ability to maintain its shape during heat treatment and makes it suitable for creating creamy textures in dishes. The variety is used in experimental agronomy, in particular in studies on the accumulation of trace elements in the grain.
