The variety belongs to the Long A type long-grain rice category. The biometric parameters of the grain are approximately 0.97 cm in length and 0.26 cm in width. In the conditions of the Camargue region, the variety is classified as mid-early with a panicle heading period in August.

The plant has the ability to germinate under anaerobic conditions and exhibits potential genetic tolerance to low temperatures. The variety was used for the production of white and brown rice, and also served as a subject for studying the chemical composition of the grain, including the presence of gamma-oryzanol.
