The variety belongs to the Superfino category and has short or medium wide grains of a rounded shape. The plant is an annual crop with a branching stem, long pointed leaves, and panicle inflorescences, which requires floodplain land conditions and flooding for cultivation.

The grains are capable of absorbing a significant volume of liquid during cooking, increasing in size by 3–4 times. The high amylopectin content in the starch ensures a creamy structure of the finished product while maintaining a firm grain core.
