The variety belongs to the medium-grain category; the grains have an elongated shape of about 7 mm, a pearl-white color, and an opaque core. The plant's vegetation cycle is up to 165 days, which requires careful control of harvest timing due to the risk of autumn weather conditions.

The plant has moderate height and resistance to lodging. Grain composition with a high amylose content of about 24% and the presence of amylopectin in the outer layers provide the rice's ability to release starch to create a creamy consistency while maintaining grain integrity during risotto preparation.
