The growing season of the variety is about 145 days, the stem height reaches 90 cm. The plant possesses high vegetative vigor and awned panicles. The variety shows resistance to Pyricularia oryzae and Helminthosporium.

The thousand kernel weight is 39.94 g, the dimensions of the milled grain are 6.66 by 3.03 mm. The grain has a high amylose content and a characteristic large 'white belly'. The variety is noted for high processing productivity.
