The rice variety named "Molo", attributed to the breeding of the Italian company SISFORAGGERA, does not in fact exist. The company SISFORAGGERA was engaged in breeding and the exchange of genetic resources, however, the creation of such a variety by them is not documented.

Scientific publications record the existence of a local Indonesian upland rice landrace called "Aen Molo", grown in the Kupang district. This variety was studied exclusively for its morphological and physical grain properties and is not connected to European breeding activities.
