The plant has a bushy-rounded habit and sparse branching. Medium-green stems have medium to dense pubescence. Leaves are simple, obovate-lanceolate with an acute tip and lobed margin, arranged in a rosette and alternately.
Flowers are single, solitary, erect, terminal. Kidney-shaped red petals overlap; a black spot is located at the base of each petal. Filament threads are purple, anthers vary from purple to blackish.
The variety belongs to the early flowering group with one short flowering period. Intended for use in ornamental gardening.
