The variety belongs to the group of oilseed crops and undergoes laboratory analysis for compliance with standards regarding alkaloid and oil content. During agrotechnical trials, the variety demonstrated yield indicators when grown without the use of fungicides and additional nitrogen top dressing.

Like other winter forms of poppy, the variety requires protection from pests such as the poppy curculio (Ceutorhynchus macula-alba) and the poppy midge (Dasineura papaveris). With excessive application of nitrogen fertilizers, plants are prone to lodging, for the prevention of which the use of growth regulators is recommended.
