The plant forms dense upright clumps. The height of the foliage is about 30 cm, and with flower stalks, the total height reaches 60 cm. The inflorescences are upright panicles, and dark purple seed pods develop in autumn.
The variety is intended for ornamental gardening and is resistant to lodging due to sturdy stems. Suitable for USDA hardiness zones 3–8. Flowering occurs in the summer period from June to August. Propagated asexually.
