The variety is an herbaceous perennial with an upright, compact, and well-branched growth habit. Plant height during the flowering period is approximately 35–55 cm. The foliage is small, dark green, and maintains its decorative appearance throughout the season.
The flowers are large, purple-red in hue with white throats, and gathered into dense inflorescences. The variety possesses high growth vigor, is drought tolerant, and is characterized by disease resistance. USDA hardiness zones are 6–9.
The plant is used in landscape design for creating borders, mixed plantings, and container gardening; it also attracts pollinators and is suitable for cutting. The variety is propagated vegetatively.
