Variety description

A compact ornamental plant with characteristic strongly wrinkled leaves. The leaf blades are heart-shaped, dark green with darker veins, while their undersides and petioles are distinguished by a red hue.

The plant usually reaches a height of 10–25 cm, including the pot. The variety is sensitive to overwatering, which creates a risk of root rot development. Used primarily as an ornamental-foliage pot plant, suitable for interiors and terrariums.
