The plant has a compact trailing habit and reaches a height of 10 to 50 cm, most often up to 30 cm. The flowers are light violet, with distinct veins and a reddish-violet tint in the throat area. The flowering period continues from late spring until late autumn.

The variety prefers open sunny sites and well-drained soils. The plant may be susceptible to damage by pests, such as aphids and slugs, as well as fungal diseases, including root neck rot. Depending on climatic conditions, it is grown as an annual or biennial plant.
