The variety possesses medium resistance to lodging and a medium tendency to flower. The plant is characterized by intensive growth, the formation of significant biomass, and high drought tolerance with low frost resistance.
The plant is neutral toward clubroot pathogens and beet cyst nematodes. The branched root system contributes to soil structuring and phosphorus uptake, penetrating to a depth of up to 80 cm.
It is used as a honey plant, attractive to bees, and as a component of grass mixtures for soil erosion protection, humus accumulation, and nitrogen fixation. After ripening, it leaves a small-stemmed layer of mulch that facilitates spring tillage.
