The Phalaenopsis Sogo Vivien hybrid is the result of crossing Phalaenopsis Sogo Alice and Phalaenopsis Zuma's Pixie. Its genetic composition is dominated by the species Phal. equestris, complemented by the influence of Phal. stuartiana, Phal. amabilis, and Phal. rimestadiana.

The plant has compact dimensions: the height of the peduncles reaches 40–50 cm, and the diameter of the rosette is 30–35 cm. The flowers are colored pale purple with distinct dark purple veins.

The most common cultivar 'SOGO F858' possesses variegated leaves with white-yellow spots or stripes and peloric flowers, where the petals take on the shape of a labellum. The shape and color of the flowers may vary depending on growing conditions.
