The Brigadeer variety is mentioned in agronomic reports as a variety of bean from the beanette group. During tests conducted in the early 1990s, it was recorded that this variety exhibited difficulties with germination and rooting compared to other tested samples.
As part of plant protection research in the period from 1992 to 1994, the variety was included in evaluations of susceptibility to bean rust disease.
