The variety is most often described as late-maturing or mid-late, however, there are forms with different maturity periods. The plant is predominantly vining, reaching a height of 2.5–3 meters, but bush forms also exist. It belongs to open-pollinated varieties.
The length of the flat pods varies from 15 to 25 cm. The seeds inside are large, and their color can be either white or black depending on the seed type. The bean has a sweet, buttery taste and is resistant to drought and certain diseases.
The variety is universal in use. The pods are consumed fresh, boiled, or canned, and at the stage of biological maturity, the bean is used as a dry bean.
