Variety description

10 August 2026

The period from emergence to technical maturity is 52 to 63 days. The bush plant reaches a height of 25–60 cm. The pods are flat and broad, reaching a length of 10–14 cm, and are light green at technical maturity.

The pods are characterized by the absence of fibers and a parchment layer, and possess a tender, fleshy texture. The seeds are predominantly black. The variety is intended for fresh consumption, culinary use, canning, and freezing.

The prefix nano in the name indicates the dwarf form of the plant, as opposed to the climbing variety of Marconi. Sowing in warmed soil from mid-May is recommended; successive sowing at 2–3 week intervals is possible.
