The seeds are medium-sized, white, flat, and rounded, with a characteristic curvature that gives the variety its name ("ganxet" translates as "little hook"). The skin is very thin and practically imperceptible when consumed.
In the relevant regions, sowing is carried out in July, flowering occurs in August, and harvesting takes place from October to November. The product is valued for its mild taste and creamy, buttery flesh texture after cooking.
The protein content is 27% or more, and the starch content is 25% or less. It is used in dried, boiled, or canned form.
