POL'KA
ActivePhaseolus vulgaris L. · Common bean
PRZEDSIEBIORSTWO NASIENNICTWA
10 August 2026
The plant is of the indeterminate type; the onset of flowering is accompanied by the appearance of white flowers. Pods vary from medium to long, have a slightly rounded shape and green color. The grains have a characteristic marbled color with a combination of beige and light brown shades.
The variety is traditional to Slovenia and is classified as a conservation variety intended for use in local organic farming. Due to the absence of tough fibers in the pods, the bean is suitable both for consumption as green beans and for use as grain in cooking.
