The variety is a small-seeded pinto-type dry bean developed by crossing the lines NW-410 Pinto, Victor Pink, and Aurora. Plants possess vigorous growth, are short, and are sufficiently upright.

The growing period ranges from 70 to 90 days. The variety is well-adapted to irrigated farming conditions and demonstrates increased growth performance on saline soils.

It possesses field resistance to Fusarium root rot, curly top virus, and bean common mosaic virus, yet exhibits moderate susceptibility to certain races of anthracnose.
