The plant is a climbing variety with a support height of about 2 meters. The seeds have a burgundy-red color with beige spots. The vegetation period is about 90 days. In the VIR collection, the variety is classified as cold-tolerant.
The variety is intended for use in the fresh grain stage and in dry form. Historically, it could be consumed as a snap bean with yellow pods at a young age; however, as they mature, the pods become tough and fibrous, acquiring a parchment layer.
