The variety forms straight dark green pods 13–15 cm in length. It is characterized by the absence of fibers and slow seed development within the pod, which contributes to a long shelf life of its market appearance.

The plant possesses resistance to bean common mosaic virus and tolerance to bacterial leaf spot. The variety has been used by breeders as a parent line in the development of other varieties.
