The plant is vigorous and strong-growing, reaching a height of 4–6 meters. It is traditionally grown in hop-growing farms using tall supports, often on the site of old hop plantations.
The variety is specialized for the production of gray dry grain. The pods are unsuitable for consumption as green beans, as they contain coarse fibers and a parchment layer.
The variety is susceptible to anthracnose and bean rust, which is why fungicides are used during cultivation.
