The variety is a low-growing bush bean, although it is sometimes described as a vigorous form. The pods are 16–18 cm long and 8–10 mm wide. The grains are characterized by the variegated coloring typical of the Borlotto variety type.

The plant belongs to mid-early varieties. Use is universal: harvesting of green pods begins in July, and harvesting of grain for drying in September–October, when the pods become parchment-like. The variety has good resistance to diseases.

Sowing of seeds in open field is carried out at the end of May – June when the soil warms up to 12–14°C at a depth of 3–4 cm. The variety is intended for cultivation in home gardens and is suitable for freezing.
