The variety belongs to the bush bean type and is characterized by the presence of thin pods of good quality. In agronomic studies, the variety was often used as a control sample when testing the resistance of new lines to diseases.
It possesses resistance to bean common mosaic virus, including the New York 15 strain. At the same time, in a number of comparative studies, the variety demonstrated varying degrees of susceptibility to bacterial blight.
