The variety belongs to the species Phleum nodosum L. and differs from forage meadow timothy. The plant forms a compact stand with a soft texture and leaves that are wider than those of most perennial ryegrass varieties. Leaf color varies from light green to bluish. In terms of heading date, the variety is classified as early-medium.

The plant possesses high cold hardiness and is capable of tolerating prolonged waterlogging and flooding. The variety is intended for the creation of lawns and sports surfaces and can be used in pure stands or in grass mixtures, for example with smooth meadow grass.
