The variety belongs to the late-maturing group. The plant forms a low, well-leafed bush with dense turf and dark green leaves. Development in the spring period is slow, and the onset of heading occurs in the second ten-day period of June.
The variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness and resistance to leaf spot. Productivity is characterized by good regrowth rates after mowing, which allows for 2–3 cuts per season.
Varis is recommended for establishing long-term pastures, including as part of grass mixtures, as well as for intensive use as hayland. Suitable for cultivation on various soil types.
