The variety with the breeding designation APPOFAMCER, known under the trade name Famous Cerise, is a perennial herbaceous plant. It possesses a broadly upright, relatively compact form and dark green lanceolate leaves.

The plant forms terminal inflorescences of a red-purple, cherry shade. The variety is characterized by an abundant and prolonged flowering period in the summer season. It is recommended for planting in flower borders and flower beds in urban and private gardens.
