The Early Pink Dark Eye™ variety is a hybrid phlox with a compact habit, with a bush height ranging from 23 to 40 cm. The plant forms dense, strong clumps suitable for container cultivation and for the foreground of flower beds.

The light pink flowers have a distinct dark pink or dark purple "eye" in the center and are fragrant. Flowering begins in early summer, which is typical for the early-blooming group. The variety shows resistance to powdery mildew and is considered low-maintenance.
