The variety has a compact growth habit and forms a bush with thick stems and somewhat long internodes. The plant's leaves are narrow.

The flowers are characterized by a short corolla tube. The petal color corresponds to hue 75B on the RHS scale, with an eye of hue N66B in the center of the flower. The plant belongs to a series of early-flowering phloxes.
