The plant reaches a height of 81 to 110 cm and has dark green, narrow, lanceolate leaves. The panicle-shaped inflorescences have a pleasant fragrance and attract pollinating insects.

Flowering occurs in mid to late summer with the possibility of repeat blooming. The variety shows resistance to heat, high humidity, and lodging, and is suitable for hardiness zones 3–8.
