Variety description

The bush is compact and dense, well-foliated, with upright sturdy stems that sometimes have a brownish hue. The young foliage is distinguished by a violet-green tint, which changes to olive-green as it matures.
The raspberry-red flowers are funnel-shaped, 2.5–3.5 cm in diameter, and have a characteristic notch on the petals. The inflorescences are rounded-conical, dense and large, reaching a size of 16.5 by 14 cm.
The variety is frost-resistant, withstanding temperatures down to -29°C. The plant prefers sunny locations protected from the midday heat, and fertile moist soil. It is used for mixed borders, flower beds, pathway borders, pond banks, and is suitable for cutting.
