The plant reaches a height of 30–45 cm. A distinctive feature is the narrow dark green leaves with a bright yellow margin, which lightens to creamy yellow during the season. The inflorescences consist of lavender-pink flowers with a white center.

Flowering of the variety occurs from mid to late summer. The plant is characterized by USDA hardiness zones 4–8 and the ability to form a dense bush, which allows it to be used for borders, mass plantings, and container gardening.
