The variety is a hybrid of Phlox stolonifera and Phlox subulata (Phlox × procumbens). The plant is characterized by vigorous growth and forms flowers of a pink-red shade. Flowering begins from mid-spring and continues until the end of spring.
The plant is used in landscape design for containers, borders, rock gardens, and shady areas of the garden. The variety possesses resistance to powdery mildew, although under certain growing conditions susceptibility to other fungal leaf diseases is possible after flowering ends.
