Variety description

10 August 2026

An adult plant reaches 10–15 m in height with a crown width of 5–8 m. At the age of ten, the tree height is about 2–3 m. The plant has high growth vigor; annual growth averages 30 cm, reaching 50 cm under favorable conditions.

The needles are stiff, prickly, 1.5–2.5 cm long, and retain a silvery-blue or steel hue all year round. Cones are light brown, 6–10 cm long. The variety tolerates pruning and shaping well and is suitable for use in solitary and group plantings.

The plant is frost-resistant, withstands temperatures down to -34...-40°C, and is resistant to drought and direct sunlight exposure. It tolerates air pollution well. It prefers well-drained soils and does not tolerate waterlogging or standing water.
