The variety is a tall plant, reaching a height of 100–140 cm, sometimes up to 1.5 m. The period from germination to technical maturity is 50–60 days. Pods are large, with a blunt tip, up to 10 cm long, containing about 8 seeds.
The seeds are distinguished by a tender sweet taste, which makes the variety suitable for fresh consumption, culinary processing, and freezing. The crop is traditionally grown in home gardens and is characterized by relative resistance to Ascochyta blight.
