The Arvika variety is characterized by rapid growth of lateral shoots and active stem intertwining, which forms a dense plant cover. The plant has purple flowers. The grain possesses high seed coat strength, and the plant itself demonstrates good resistance to a number of leaf and root diseases.
Due to its tendency for intensive growth and lodging, the variety is recommended for cultivation in mixtures with support crops, such as oats, barley, or triticale. Thanks to its ability to fix nitrogen and rapidly accumulate biomass, the pea is effectively used to improve soil structure and control weeds.
