Variety description

10 August 2026

The Curling variety belongs to the group of forage protein peas. Its grains are yellow, and the variety itself is intended for the production of grain that can subsequently be used to obtain pea protein isolates.

In agronomic literature, the variety is studied in the context of evaluating yield, grain quality, and its functional properties. It should be noted that the term "curling" is also used in phytopathology to describe the symptom of leaf curling in viral diseases of peas.
